Making music is one of the greatest joys and I strongly believe that anyone willing to put forth the effort deserves a chance at learning the bassoon. This instrument can be challenging to perform on, but its beautiful sounds make the journey more than worth it. Students can come in any experience level. This is why I believe on meeting the needs of the student and taking them further than they thought they could go. My happiest moments while teaching occur when I can see the student has reached a new level of understanding, whether it is hearing their tone truly resonate for the first time or when a musical concept really becomes a part of their playing.
I teach private bassoon lessons for Guitars, Etc. in Longmont, Colorado. Students are encouraged to take lessons with myself directly, and are not required to register with Guitars, Etc. if they do not wish to do so. I am willing to travel to meet students from Denver through Fort Collins, Colorado.
I charge $35 per half-hour lesson and $70 per hour-long lessons. Payment for the entire month’s lesson is due at the first lesson of each month. A late fee of $15 will be charged for payments made after the 6th of the month. No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or for late arrivals to lessons. Cancelled lessons due to inclement weather, illness, and emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
